“ASK ME ANYTHING”, a REDDIT event featuring Lawyers and Plaintiffs in the THE NDAA LAWSUIT
On Thursday, September 27th, at 12 P.M. EST, plaintiffs and attorneys from the Hedges v. Obama lawsuit against the NDAA will engage in an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) event on reddit.com Chris Hedges, Daniel Ellsberg and others will be on hand to answer questions about the biggest civil liberties case in a decade in this nation.
Hedges will open the question and answer session, followed by Daniel Ellsberg, attorneys Bruce Afran and Carl Mayer and plaintiff Tangerine Bolen. David Segal, Executive Director of Demand Progress, the civil liberties group partnering with RevolutionTruth to support this lawsuit, will be on hand to answer questions about efforts to encourage President Obama to drop any appeals to this ruling. Birgitta Jónsdóttir is going to try to be there as well.
Lawyers and plaintiffs will shed light on the implications of winning or losing this historic case. Your questions are welcome and your attention to this case is critical to our civil liberties.
If you’re not already familiar with reddit, please take a quick look at the site. It’s very easy to understand. It is essentially a message board to which people can post links to other interesting things on the web or start discussion threads. Users of the site then vote those links/discussions up or down.
